Radio works and plays nicely. Not sure what upgrades have been done if any. Radio dial stops at 14.50. Volume control is a bit touchy. A few flaws that I pointed out in the photos.

Please be aware that this item is not functional. Power cord has been cut in the back and item will definitely need to be re-restored original 1930s tombstone radio.

Pulled from a garage / in fairly decent shape – all damage is thoroughly documented in the listing photos. I have not attempted to turn this radio on yet. It appears the tubes are all present – I understand what these radios go for when fully restored and I understand that my asking price is a little to close to the restored price / message me and let’s strike a deal / id like for this radio to go to the right home. This radio comes from a meticulously preserved lifetime estate collection we are currently processing. The original owner was extremely organized and careful with his equipment. All items were stored indoors in a dry warehouse environment for decades. This set appears largely original, including. Zenith-branded power transformer (49CZ547). At least one Zenith-branded vacuum tube present. Original-style Zenith electrolytic can. Original back panel (Model 2-101-W marked). Made in U. Zenith was one of America’s premier radio manufacturers of the 1940s, known for durable construction and strong reception. The classic cream cabinet, gold concentric dial, and woven grille cloth make this a great restoration candidate or display piece. Untested – not powered on. Interior shows dust from long-term storage. Cabinet shows age wear, scuffs, and discoloration. Back panel present but currently taped in place. Dial glass intact. Cord appears original. No obvious chassis modifications observed. As with most 1940s radios, it will likely require capacitor replacement and servicing before regular use. Please review all photos carefully. Tubes will be protected internally. Radio will be securely bubble wrapped. Double boxed if needed. We take extra care with fragile vintage electronics. Art Deco design with Bakelite cabinet and front accents. Tested and working; receives stations clearly. Beautiful cosmetic condition with light age-related wear. This is a vintage item, approx 70 years old, so please understand it will not work perfectly and may need maintenance or repair. Not all channels had reception (just static) which in my experience is normal for vintage radios. The backing on the radio is loose, the top fasteners were removed. I took photos the best I could have the inside through the small space provided. It has some wear as seen in photos. Overall, I believe this is a very nice radio and vintage piece. But that is my opinion, please examine the video and photos to form your own opinion.

Fully functional with clear sound and responsive tuning dial. Beautiful vintage wood cabinet with warm patina and classic styling. Authentic post-war design, great for collectors or display. Seems to be in good shape for its age with no breaks or cracks in the case. All the original knobs are present and original label on the bottom. The radio plays and the clock runs. The electrical cord is still in good shape. Please look closely at photos for more description. Item pictured is the exact items that you will receive, it is old and may have cosmetic flaws due to age and normal usage. I package, measure and weigh the item.
