Working Vintage Tabletop Grundig Model 4570 U/Tube Stereo Made in W. Works as expected and has normal wear and tear for its age. There is some discoloration on the side down by the bottom. Thank you for looking.

This is a vintage Philco tube radio from 1949, housed in a portable roll top wood case. It is in working condition and was manufactured in the United States. The wood on this radio is beautiful with a roll top, and the radio has a lot of static between stations, but plays loud. Please view the pics for more details. And in the condition that is seen. There is also a scratch in the leather on the right side as shown in the pics. Please consider all of this before purchasing to make certain that this is the item and condition that is okay for you. The power cord is in great condition, but being an old radio, I suspect it should need some type of maintenance to get clearer channels etc. You may wish to clean and restore entirely.

The only thing I have never been able to figure out is how the alarm works. The rear setting dial will set the alarm and the clock, but I never understood which hand is for the alarm. Otherwise, the radio works, the backlight works, and it has all the turn dials that also work. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send me a message.

Working Vintage Philco Brown Bakelite? Radio “Hippo” 1940′s 12″ x 7 1/2″x 6. I was using it to listen to the Cubs games. Clean and very good physical condition.
