This transceiver is in fair cosmetic condition, but certainly not perfect. The faceplate looks pretty good, but the cabinet has quite a few scuffs/scratches. Also, the main tuning knob has a large chip in it. It’s pretty dusty/dirty inside, and it looks there may be a few modifications (see photos). The radio powers up, but there is a lot of hum coming from the speaker. No further testing has been done. Swan 1500Z HF ham radio amplifier using two 572B tubes. This amp looks great as you can see. It power up, has B+ and seems to work. But the transformer is humming. So I believe that one or more of the filter caps is bad–a common failing of all these old amps. So you will have to get in and replace one or more of the caps. Offered here strictly as-is.
