1947 Sparton 5-AI-16 Vintage Radio / Ivory Working in very good condition. There are a couple of cracks, however, one near the right knob and one on the underside that has been repaired very effectively (see photos).

Sparton Superheterodyne Vintage Model 1001 Tube Radio As Is for Parts/Project. This is a very cool old sparton tube radio. It has some wear and pitting spots from age as shown in the photos. It appears to be missing a few tubes. Would be a great project radio or for decoration. See photos for details.

Sparton Wooden Table Top Vintage Radio. There are four knobs for tuning. The on/offknob clicks on and the unit powers on. I’m not sure if the tuning knobs areoriginal. I got loud hum and noise from speaker but couldn’t tune in a stationbut the tuning knob does move but not perfectly. It needs to be adjusted. There’ssome clear plastic pieces holding the face plate on. I’m not sure if that isthe way the radio came or if someone added it on. The capacitors on these old radios go bad andhave to be replaced to work properly. There also could be a problem with theantenna but I’m not sure. The case has some minor scratches, discolorations, and wear to the finish as you can see but no cracks. This is anitem for “PARTS OR POSSIBLE REPAIR”. 1935 Sparton 65 vintage tombstone radio made by Sparks-Withington Co. 6 tube superheterodyne for broadcast reception 540 to 1600 kHz including police calls and short wave from 19 to 55 meters. Some work has been done to it – to include Wood/cabinet refinishing and mechanical. It was modified to run cooler and not catch fire. Its complete and works great and safe to use in your home.
