Extremely rare and visually striking – Federal Type 57 regenerative radio, circa 1922. A standout piece for serious collectors, historians, or restoration enthusiasts. Case has a distinct copper/bronze finish (metal type not confirmed). Black faceplate, all dials move freely. Cosmetic signs of age: scratches, scuffs, and a filled indentation near the large wavelength dial. (possibly original or modified – see photos). Solid vintage condition overall – please inspect all photos for details. This radio comes with 4x UX201A tubes as originally fitted. Tubes have been tested on my Amplitrex AT-1000, and were previously marked by the original owner as tested on a TV-7 as well. Both readings remain labeled directly on the tubes. Marconi UX201A (Engraved Base) – iP 110%, GM 100%, TV-7: 40/18. Marconi UX201A (Engraved Base) – iP 106%, GM 108%, TV-7: 40/18. Westinghouse UX201A (Engraved Base) – iP 100%, GM 100%, TV-7: 32/18. Radio triple-boxed : foam padding, bubble wrap, reinforced cardboard shell, double outer boxing. Two tracking numbers provided (likely UPS or Purolator). I cannot verify functionality but was told by the original collector it was working when acquired.

All 3 RF transformers are present as well as the instruction card. All dials nice & turn freely. Tube platform suspension cord is deteriorated & will need to be replaced. A piece of replacement cord will be included. Dial face should shine up with a good grade of plastic polish you can get at a hardware or automotive store.
