This vintage FADA 845 Cloud radio is a great find for collectors. Made in the United States, it features a nice vintage display radio. The description is accurate and the pictures are clear. This was my grandfather’s radio. I cleaned the interior, replaced the light bulbs and replaced the power chord (since power chords deteriorate over time and could be a safety issue). We are the owners of this rare find. The brown bakelite case shows very well overall and still appears fairly glossy, there are some mostly minor scuff/scratch marks and a few paint splatter spots, no cracks/chips were noticed, the volume control is very scratchy and intermittent, otherwise all other controls function okay with minimal noise when adjusting, all knobs look good, the gold foil dial and plastic lens look good, the power cord appears okay but it will need a new plug, the radio measures about 14 1/2″ by 7″ by 8 3/4 high, see all pictures as they constitute part of the description and ask questions. 1930s vintage fada wood tabletop radio. My guess is nobody broadcasts on these bands anymore. This would look great on a fireplace mantle or antique radio display.

This radio DOES power up. It produces static, but I could not tune in any radio stations. ONE knob is MISSING. The cosmetic condition shows some scratching and light overall wear, but no visible cracks or breaks. NOTE: This is an estate piece and will most likely need to be serviced.
