1930 Echophone S-5 Radio. It’s an 8 tube radio. All tubes light up and have life in them. However, the radio signal does not work. The speaker comes on and has a loud hum, I’ve put an RCA cable up to the jack and heard my iPhone through the speaker. So, the speaker is good. I replaced the light for the dial, its new. If I had to guess I’d try to get an antenna and replace some parts under the chassis- after this you should have a working radio. The wood Console & grill has been professionally restored. I had plans to restore this but I’m too busy, it’s halfway done so will make a good project.
