This is an “all american five” style radio. The bakelite is in pretty much perfect condition. Has been polished out to look like new. The brass parts polish up nicely. Has been serviced electrically and mechanically. Electrolytic and paper capacitors replaced. Any out of tolerance resistors replaced. The back cover could use being replaced, its structurally sound but doesnt look perfect as you can see in the picture. The retainers for it were missing, and impossible to find, so i made some that work just fine. I had to re-foil under the dial. It was a rose colored gold foil, and that is what i used, but its a little more gold colored now than original.
