For sale is a seldom seen Hallicrafters Skyrider 23 ham radio tube receiver in decent unrestored condition. Its a nice survivor that will not need much cleaning. All dials turn as they should and knobs are smooth turning. The front panel retains all of its lettering. Looks like a transformer was changed at some point. Something got a little hot at some point in its life. The replacement is nicely done and it looks like the original holes are used. It was briefly plugged in and it turns on but the cord definitely needs to be replaced before any testing is done. Its dangerous as is. Theres no rust or physical damage aside from a few dings here and there from age. The cabinet looks like its quite the project to take apart so I was only able to photograph the top of the chassis. You get both of these original radios. I have not plugged in but original owner said they work. The white one may have a repaint. I can’t tell. There is a small stress crack as seen on he front cover of the brown radio. These are rare and the figurine still has the monacle on both. Priced at an unreal value. This Radio is in “as found” original condition. It is in need of restoration, with some cracks. There is a crack on the top left side, one on the lower left corner, also a small one on the lower right bottom of the grille. Also a stain of some kind on the front by the dial that moves around the side. I have not plugged this radio in, or tried to clean it. I don’t know if it works or not. Please refer to pictures for actual condition as they are a major part of the description. If you have any questions I will try my best to answer them. Please see my other items that are listed. 1923 GLOBE MODEL 810 Wood Case Tube Battery Radio, Vintage, Antique, Scarce

Rare globe model 810 battery radio from 1923. All complete including four early globe style 201a tubes. Cabinet is in very good condition, appears to be oak wood with dark finish.. The chassis is clean and cabinet finish appears original. The radio displays nice and is a real eye catcher. The knobs look to be all original, and the knobs all turn smoothly and the tuners move nice and smooth and everything seems to work as it should. I do not know if the chassis has modifications, looks complete. The front panel is in good condition and looks to be all original. I believe one of the tube “peep hole” metal rings was replaced (hard to notice), and an audio transformer was replaced. The transformer is under the chassis and not seen unless the chassis is removed. The four globe type 201a tubes are all correct and all four tested good for continuity (good filaments).. I have provided many photos so please take a close look. The photos should represent the condition and physical details, but please ask any questions.
