This receiver is in fair cosmetic condition. The cabinet is dirty and has some chipped paint (common as Heathkit didn’t use primer), the faceplate is a little dirty, and it’s missing the two front feet. Inside, it contains three filters and appears complete with no signs of modification. This’ll make a great restoration candidate! This equipment came from the estate of a serious ham operator and audiophile, and has been tucked away in a storage unit for approximately 15 years. We’ve made the decision to sell this older equipment 100% as-is and untested. There are a few reasons for this, but it essentially comes down to the fact that they almost always need some level of service and it’s simply not cost effective to pay our technician to spend time going through them.
