Ferguson 384U Radio Working Vintage 1955 Early FM Valve Tube Radio MW LW SW. Manufactured in the UK by Ferguson, model Finesse 384U was an early FM set, releasing in 1955 (the year FM was made available in the UK). The 6-valve design is capable of picking up LW, MW, SW and FM signals (although note that these are limited to lower-band frequencies like radio 2, etc). The radio is a mains-powered tabletop model, housed in an attractive bakelite case measuring. 440 x 330 x 180 mm. In respect of condition, the radio is i. N excellent cosmetic condition. The radio works well on MW and LW wavebands, but does take a minute or two to warm up, which seems a little unusual. Once this has been replaced it will likely work, but may require an external aerial for best results. In the latter case, we will send you an invoice ASAP.
