The brand is Emerson, and it was manufactured in an unknown location, adding to its mysterious charm. Ideal for display or use, this radio is a true gem that will add character to any space. Vintage 1954 Stewart Warner Model 9182-C CONLRAD Mid Century Atomic Radio 2 Tone. This is a cool radio! Great MCM Atomic look. Powers but only buzzes. NO cracks, chips or scratches in the plastic. Looks to be complete. Some scratches & light wear in the original tan paint. Tan paint (still shinny) over brown plastic. The knobs and dial pointer are orange (original). The dial pointer does not move all the way with the knob (string is probably loose on the inside). A little dusty inside with a hint of cigarette smell. Measures 12 x 7 x 7 inches. Will be packaged very securely. See photo’s for condition. In most cases we do not know the history or have not used the item personally. A completely restored Jetsons era, Fleetwood, Model #58-54 tube radio, manufactured in 1954 It is considered a compact table model. It plays exceptionally well – clear and crisp with no hum. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is very good – it is playing as I write this. As with all my radios it is electrically sound – the tubes are strong and all of the original wax/paper capacitors have been replaced. The case has has been restored and given a wine-coloured Tera Cotta type sandy finish coating of a high-end vinyl automotive product that is resistant to wear. It has a loupe antenna and the original back. Knobs are original and the tuning knob is straight out of Star Trek. The measurements are: 8.5″ across, 6.5″ high and 5 wide. This radio will give years of good service. Every vintage tube radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out. The work performed can be seen in the pictures of the chassis and/or found in the radio description.
