Working vintage SK 2/2 Braun midcentury tube radio

This is a very nice Braun SK 2/2 tube radio that’s in excellent working order. It dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s. It’s a great example of mid-century modern design. This model, along with its cousins the SK1 and SK25, can be found in various design museums around the world. This particular radio has been restored in Germany, and is in great condition, both technically and cosmetically. There are minor imperfections, such as the odd mark and damage to the card at the back (see 5th photo). I’ve tried to show the radio from all angles in the pictures, but can happily provide more photos. It’s fitted with a UK 3-pin plug. Working vintage SK 2/2 Braun midcentury FM tube radio excellent condition

This is a very nice Braun SK 2/2 tube radio that’s in excellent working order. It dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s. It’s a great example of mid-century modern design. This model, along with its cousins the SK1 and SK25, can be found in various design museums around the world. It’s in great condition cosmetically with the odd minor imperfection, such as a scratches on the perspex tuning dial. There’s also a little bit of play in the dial – a slight wobble. I’ve tried to show the radio from all angles in the pictures, but can happily provide more photos. As it works well and I have no technical knowledge at all, I thought it best to just leave the cover in place. If you want some pictures of the tubes etc inside, let me know. It has a German plug, so I’ll included a European to UK plug adaptor. I’ll also include a small external aerial to plug into the back. This isn’t usually needed, but it can improve the reception. Working Vintage old wood Emerson radio. Im not sure if this is the model number but its what is stamped in the back. I plugged it in and it works great picking up the local stations with minimum static. There is a spice in the cord. I also noticed thumb tacks inside holding on the speaker fabric so I assume that was changed at some point. 11 wide X 7 tall X 5 deep. Old working Emerson Model 511 Antique 1946 Vintage Tube AM Radio

It looks great and sounds great pulling in stations across the dial. The chassis has been recapped. The wooden case has been refinished and the power cord replaced. It has a clear dial that lights up when the radio is turned on. It is very clean and in great condition. Radio dimensions are approximately 8 high by 11½ wide by 6½ deep and it weighs almost 7 pounds. The radio will be carefully padded, packaged and insured. This is a very nice Braun SK1 tube radio that’s in good working order. It dates from the late 1950s and. Was designed by Artur Braun and Fritz Eichler in the same year that the renowned Dieter Rams was hired by the firm. It’s a great example of mid-century modern design, and this model, along with its cousins the SK2 and SK25, can be found in various museums around the world. It’s in excellent condition cosmetically and works very well on FM. It works very well without the little external aerial at the back, but the extra aerial does help to improve the reception and increases the volume. I’ve tried to show the radio from all angles in the pictures, but can happily provide more photos.
