This is a really nice example of this set! The wood cabinet is nice and solid and the finish looks very good. There are some imperfections as you might expect on a piece from this era. The grille clothe does have a rip in it. As an aside, Philco produced several sets that had a case that looked like this one. I believe that this set is a 43B but if one of you vintage experts knows differently, please let me know. The radio powers on as it should and I was able to tune in several stations here in central Indiana! It was not hooked up to an external antenna.
