Columbia – Columbian Products 1940s Coin-Operated Motel Radio. Very nice vintage 10 cent coin operated motel/hotel radio. This collectible radio works well. The electrolytic and paper/wax capacitors have been replaced, as well as the power cord, and bad tubes. When you drop in a dime, it warms up, plays for about 12 minutes, then drops the dime in the door tray about 2 minutes before the radio shuts off! It is meant to hang on a wall, so the speaker is on the bottom. I set it in a bowl, so the radio rests on the bowl rim and the speaker is elevated. It is missing the key lock cylinder, but that can be replaced if desired. Please study the photos well, so you know exactly what you will be receiving. Key words: vintage radio coin operated radio.
