Beautiful Vintage 1961 Blaupunkt Sultan 2623 Stereo Tube Radio Made In Germany. Made by Blaupunkt the same company that has made high end radios for Porsche & BMW. It is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are no cracks in the plastic front. The veneer is tight and the original finish and still looks great. There are a couple of minor chips on the front edge wood that have been repaired and minor scratches here and there. Over all the radio looks stunning. After we got the radio home we plugged it in and realized the fuse in the radio had blown. We then changed the fuse and plugged it in and the power came on but had no sound. After looking inside we realized that it was missing a couple of vacuum tubes. We then moved the cord slightly and the fuse blew again. Seems the power cord has a short where it plugs into the radio. Radio is untested and as-is and would be great to restore. Please look at the pictures closely and judge the condition and content of this lot for yourself as our photos are a large portion of our description.
