I tested this beast at the time of the listing and it produces a full fidelity, high gain signal. This one uses a standard and very common 3 pin plug-in XLR male connector at the base. An 8 foot mic cord, XLR to 1/4 phono plug is included. On the backside is a Low Z-High Z switch, but best left in Low Z for highest quality. The front mounted on-off switch functions normally and the pivot joint holds the mic in position as it should. Threads are perfectly good.
