The case is Bakelite and was tested. It is a patriotic model based on the colors used, red, white & blue. When plugged in the radio hums but does not play. It has a handle that can be pulled up for carrying and pushed back down. There is a crack on the bottom of the radio. Bakelite can be repaired, one of the sites is the old radio fixer upper guy. This radio is rare but because it is a parts, repair, restore it will have a low starting price. The radio measures 11″ long, 8″ high and 6 1/4 deep (approximately).
