Offered to you today is my beautiful 1936 Emerson model B – 131 vintage tube radio. The cabinet was stripped , sanded, and coated with 6 coats of clear poly-coat. The veneer is all original and no repairs were made to the cabinet. Any markings that you may see are from the natural aging of the wood and not damage which adds more beauty to the radio’s appearance. It is 12.5 ” long x 9.25″ tall x 6.5 deep. There are new filter and audio capacitors and the tubes, resistors, and remaining components tested and replaced if needed. A new dial cord, 2 new dial lamps, new grill cloth, new dial cover, and the bezel and knobs were polished and resealed. The dial face is in excellent condition also. There is an antenna pigtail at the rear of the radio which will need a few feet of wire attached for proper performance. The radio’s performance will vary based on your location and signal strength.
