Here is a very pretty compact sized Philco that will probably fit anywhere in your home or office. This is the model TH-1 and was made in 1938! The cabinet which I recently refinished is beautiful all around with a nice vertical veneer insert running from top to bottom. The barred speaker grill along with the oval dial face opening is very nice. Size: 11.5″ long x 7.5″ tall x 6 deep. There is a new dial cover, new grill cloth, new AC power cord, new dial lamp, and new filter/audio capacitors. Knobs polished and resealed. Chassis cleaned and the remaining components to include the tubes & resistors, were also checked. Any weak were replaced. Speaker is excellent with a strong clear projection. There is an antenna “pigtail” at the rear of the radio which will require you to attach 15 – 20 feet of wire to it for proper performance and reception.
