Just completed this weekend is a beautiful little GE tube radio. This radio is the rare HP 561 model and was made in 1940. It is 11.25″ long x 7.5″ tall x 6.5 deep. There is a loop antenna built in and the radio receives stations very well across the dial. The knobs have been polished and resealed. There is a new AC power cord, new grill cloth, new dial cover, and new dial lamp. The cabinet is in excellent condition and the top looks beautiful with a very different grain pattern that jumps out at you when you first see the radio. There are new filter and audio capacitors and the tubes have been individually tested. Any weak were replaced. The chassis cleaned and all remaining components tested, adjusted, and lubed if needed.
