Just restored is a stunning 1936-1938 dewald tube radio model 633. This little guy measures 13″ long x 8.5 ” tall x 6.5 deep. The perfect size to display almost anywhere in the home or office. The cabinet is not perfect considering its age but it is in excellent condition. Please review the photo’s for a good description of its present condition. The bullet knobs and bezel have been polished, resealed, and a new dial cover has been added. The dial face is excellent. There is a new grill cloth, new dial lamp, and felt pads on the bottom of the cabinet. The filter and wax capacitors have been replaced with new ones. I have tested all of the tubes, resistors, remaining components and replaced any that were weak. The ac power cord is in very good condition and is safe to operate. There are 5 tubes with one ballast tube. I believe this radio to be somewhat rare because i have never seen another during all my years of working on them. So with that said, don’t let it slip by you ! The radio receives and plays very well with no issues.
