Vintage 1946 catalin radio dewald step top a502 marble brown tube bakelite. Vintage dewald a502 catalin radio in marbleized brown with a caramel color grill. Good condition – this radio was serviced and rebuilt at some time in it’s life – it did work but now only two tubes light up (one does not). I do not know what interior parts might have been replaced, it looks a bit dusty in there. There are two cracks to the cabinet, one on each side of the top of the grill, these have been repaired and lightly painted over, blends in fairly well. The grill has one rub mark. The rest of the cabinet is in very good condition with smooth top and sides, just a touch of light marks from use. A remainder of the original label is on the bottom. Knobs are both in very good condition, no damages. The inside parts are not seated inside the radio, they slide out easily. Click to see larger photo.
